DVDR 610

1: Turn on the 610 from the front panel, Do NOT open the disc tray
2: On the 610 Remote, press the blue button, then play then 159, then 121212005255, then play then standby.
3: Enjoy multiregion viewing!

Please note, the buttons must be pressed quickly or the hack will not work.
You should see the numbers 121212005255 on the front panel display briefly if the hack has been input correctly.

THIS IS MY PROBLEM....


All dvds work but My R1 films are showing in black and white R2 dvd are fine do any one other than me have this problems? also today updated the firmware for recorder still did not help my problem.

Deans instructions for steps 1, 2, 3 are correct,

this is what i Did though, downloaded the current flash firmware for the DVD player as i bought it,

hacked it as above and, and has multi reg but reg 1 mono :(

resetted machine back to how i bought it :/

so we back to brand new....i then downloaded latest firmware, applied it to dvd rec then hacked it, and worked fine, on all DVDS, reg 1, 2 and backed up stuff :)

When i hacked it, i was succesful 1st attempt

i experimented ( by resetting back to default firm version ) and pruposely enetered a failed hack code, then a succesfull one, reg 2 was mono

looks like it only likes and is successfull on 1st and only attempt - weird.

This worked fine for me as well, full stereo/surround on all regions tried. RCE is still protected though.
