Hi all, I have managed to get my dvd player region free , just a quick question, Do anybody know if the JMB 3000 can have the macro vision dissabled and if so how.

I also own a JMB 3000 (surely THE best player for under £150 available) and have seen this question popping up a lot on this site in relation for other players - what does disabling the macrovision do? what are the advantages?

Hi I have been unable to hack my player, I have followed the instructions, but still not. Could you please tell me how you did yours. I am also curious about disabling macro on my player, hopefully someone will know. Thanks

To disable Macro on the JMB 3000 you will need a Macro Defeater as there is no other way of turning it off via a remote hack as far as I know. Try Ebay for supplyers of the Macro Defeater.

Disabling the MacroVision allows the user to copy DVD to VHS without the picture turinig black and white.

i`m sorry but i don`t know how to get the macro vision disabled, but you say you managed to get your jmb region free, i`ve tried the hack and nothing happens do you know of another way
