Does any body have a hack for this player I have tried all the Goodmans ones on this site to no avail can anybody help?

:) Here you go. After after much searching and research the multi region hack is: press the TV/DVDR button, then RETURN, then DISPLAY, thenn 8880

Can anyone confirm this hack works for the Goodmans 300r recorder? These things are going for 150quid, and I wouldn`t mind one as long as it can definately be made multi-region. Does anyone know if this recorder is any good?

Thanks for the confirmation of the hack.
Is the player actually any good? In particular, does it do RGB in and out? Does NTSC output as NTSC or does the player attempt to convert to PAL? What`s the reliability like?What`s the recording quality like? Is the tuner NICAM?

Yet another 300R Region Free with above hack--Fair machine for the dosh, good quality play and rec even on my Infocus Screenplay projector, running compo video!
I can copy DVD`s with this as the recorder, and a Cyberhome AD-M 512, as player in which you can disable Macrovision- ( Old but good player, Re wrote firmware, from www.cyberhome-help.de to allow region free, macro off)

Does anyone know of a hack that will turn off Macrovision DETECTION in this machine, Suprising however, how many videos don`t have Macro protection. Those that do, bring up message on recording in big red box saying Macro Protected--Bugger! Really like to find a hack so I can copy all my old video collection to DVD??--Or do I need to build a Macrovision eliminator gate based around sync. sep. chip?

Hi Just bought a Goodman 300R and i cannot get it to play with my Telewest box. Other than that it seems a good little machine. Pity it may have to go back. I have had 2 Mico Espejos in a year, so avoid at all costs.
If anyone can help me to get it to stop the interferance of my digi box, i would appreciate it.

any one have a hack to remove macrovision protection( detection) from the recorder ?
