Can anyone help with the region change code for the Philips 750 DVD

Hi Fisher,
There is a limited hack for this player that can be done by the remote control it is as follows:-
Press on dvd remote PLAY then 2 7 4. The display on your player will now appear as a row of dashes. Now enter 006000128156 then press Play(screen will flash red). The player will now be region1. To switch back to region2 repeat the process again replacing the long code with:-
001000128156.
This is a limited hack and after 25 changed it will lock into the last region selected. When this happens the player will need reprogramming or chiping.

Thanks again- had trouble with the `Hello` !!
Have tried the hack code, and there are only sufficient dashes for eleven digits.
When entering the twelfth digit and then play - the DVD locks and I have to switch off at mains before re-trying. I must be doing something wrong?!
Help!!!!

I have a Phillips 750 Dvd.
I search for a long time to change the region code (it was an region code 2).
I found society who sell a chip to put inside but nothing with the remote control.
One day a friend (who have a vidéo shop) says that he has a special programmed remote control (a gift of phillips retailler) to make of my dvd a multizone.
I give my Dvd and he did( i saw with my eyes).
Now i can read any dvd (Zone 1, zone 2 , etc).
The only way if you don`t want to put a chip in your dvd player it`s to ask to someone who has a shop to do it for you.
