I have firmware versions 6.7 and 8.0 both have the ability to change region or set to multiregion and have macro off. Firmware is recorded on to a CDR and played in the DVD player to up or downgrade.
Points to note:
6.7 can be set and powered down, you do not need to re-apply the hack
8.0 every time you power down you lose the hack, you need to re-apply each time you use the machine.....

Up or Downgrading firmware is easy.....
My website isn`t up just yet, still working on it....

ive got 009.90112 which i know hasnt got mult`region also ive seen in another forum that someone down graded firmware and had problems with matrix disc?

Firstly have you tried the hack?
Open tray.
Press 7, 6 , SEL on remote to enter secret menu.

Version 9 firmware has everything removed....

just updated firmware from 9 to 8 all went fine just wondered if you knew if it plays the rce coded discs
