try this...
-ensure there is NO dvd in the machine -press the "disc menu" button -press "play", 1, 5, 9 -you`ll see lines in the display -press 1,2,1,2,1,2,0,0,5,2,5,5 and then "play" button -this should make your hdrw 720 codefree
