Page 1 of need a simple answer to a simple question

hi my m8 has a goodmans gdvd 100,but it wont play dvd-r,if i give him the multi-region hack will it allow him to play dvd-r.

Most DVD`s should read +\- R (just depending on the drive used in the unit).

If he is trying to watch one of his backup DVDs (as opposed to the original media), when using +/-R you have to finalise the disc (protect it from being written to again) to allow it to play. Some media may work in one machine & not in another, so try another brand for backing up DVD`s.
