Page 1 of Samsung DVD 611 hack

I tried the Thomson 3300 hack in order to get the player multiregion enabled. but after entering the code for region 2 (code 3,8,7,6,7) nothing happend.
Normally I would expect that the region code (2) becomes displayed to which the player is currently set.
Whats going wrong here ? I would be grateful for any help You can provide. thanks in advance Sandro

Did you proceed the hack even if you couldn`t see any 2-digit, or did you quit when it didn`t show up?
If you did stop, try again and complete the hack.
By the way, you did choose language after the coldstart?

Some firmware versions for x11 cannot be hacked with this hack. search this forum for more info, look to forums at http://709online.com

FM is right - in particular, some Hitachi 305 (x11 clone) firmware cannot be hacked. In addition, *no* Region 1 US x11 firmware is known to be hackable at this stage.

It would be helpful to know which firmware version you have installed. As well as 709 Online, visit my site, http://www.709firmware.fsnet.co.uk/ for more information on firmware versions.

hello over there,
thank You all for the hints. the hack is working well. it has been my fault (user faillure ;-)). after pressing the repeat button the code has to be entered in a fast sequence instead of waiting for while as I did it before.
