Hi, My player was set for multi-regions and was working fine until recently. After playing Bedazzled (region 1), the player reset to the original region 3. Can anyone tell me how it can be set to multi-region again? Thankyou very much.

You dont say how it was set to play multi region,all toshibas need to be chipped to play multi region ,has yours been?.if so it may be faulty.

Hi, Thankyou for your reply. It was set by the dealer prior to delivery, so I don`t really know how they have done it. The set was bought in 1998. BTW, does this means that I need to change a chip?

hi! this old model was modified to multizone by program it`s eprom outside(!) the player(no chip inside). this movie (like:"the kid",too) erased all the multizone memory inside the eprom (it happened in tosh. old models & in several philips models...). you need to replace the eprom with new one(with multizone). ask steve from dvd chips!!! amir s.

Dear Bengt Like you i have had the same problem with the same machine purchased around the same time except in my case the film "The patriot (region 2)" caused the machine to reset to Region 3.How have you got on with Amir`s mate in Israel
