Page 1 of Mustek DR1080 DVD Recorder hack needed please ....

any one got a hack for mustek dvd recorder , want to back up old vhs tapes that maybe protected........thanks :)

Apologies for asking a question rather than answering yours but I couldn`t help notice the price on the 1080 and am thinking of buying one. Have you got a hack to make it multi region (excuse my ignorance but I am assuming that the hack you are requesting is to break the security tags not region settings). any other comments as to how well it works appreciated. eg what difference between the 1080 and the 1000 which is about £50 more expensive

its great, does what i want it to do...however its a tad noisy(fan noise) and slow responing to the remote
so seven out of ten

But is it multi region ??

what type of blank media does it use please +-
