RE: MATSUI DVD110 black and white problems
Hi
If this is the only R1 disc you have tried it would sound like the problem is with your TV not being fully NTSC compatible.
Some times if TVs are not 100% percent NTSC compatible you get a black a white picture.
Do you have RGB input ?
If this is your TV you can get a signal converter for 50 pounds which will put colour into the picture.
My Matsui plays American dvds fine , but my tv is fully NTSC compatible.
Hope this helps.
RE: MATSUI DVD110 black and white problems
It is currently plugged in via the scart socket. Of which there are two available, a standard uhf input and fornt mounted yellow white red sockets, which I have just tried with no success.
If you have any other suggestions please help, or do you know where I can get a converter from?

It sounds like it is your tv thats the problem.
Does it say anything in your tv manual about NTSC signals ?
Is your tv PAL 60HZ compatible ?
You can get a NTSC to PAL converter from Keene electronics at
www.keene.co.uk.
