basically are there any available for the sony dvp s735, or maybe some free modifications?

Sony players aren`t hackable. As for modifications, if you mean "free" as in "costing no money", you must be kidding! :-)
However, there are chip mods available from the usual places (Techtronics, Link Online, Upgrade Heaven, etc. etc.) That`s your only option really.
