Page 1 of Daewoo DS2000D I need a region hack desperately!

Hi all,

I know this player is not so good, but I would really appreciate any region hack info for it. I`ve tried all the daewoo ones on the site to no avail (not having a shuffle button on this controller is starting to pi*# me off)
Or should I just get it chipped?

hi ,i do not know if this will work for your dvd. this is for daewoo dhc 2200k..turn power on and while the display reads no disc press set up, title, step and next. on the secret menu scroll down to region id and change it to bypass

I looked at one of these before eventually deciding on the Aiwa 370.

I was told by the guy in the Scottish Power that Daewoo had rewritten the firmware to exclude the region hacks. Seemed like a nice player, but as I said I went for the 370 in the end - ex-display from Comet.

Lets hope the guy in Scot Power was wrong and that someone comes up with a hack !!

www.techtronics.com and they cannot help with that one, so unless
any body else as got ahack for it ,it seems regent 2 only
