i`m looking for a hack for my new THOMSON DPL 909VD and i cant find anything

i found the hack! whlist the tray door of your dvd player is open continuisly press the release button. the region code will appear on screen . use the volume button to change to the region you want

im going try this with my thomson 950vd, ive trie everything else,what do you mean by the "release"button?

I tried every hack I could find but none were successful.
using threads of them all I found this worked.

1. power on player with no cd/dvd in tray.

2. press dvd/cd on remote.

3. `NO DISK` should appear on dvd players display

4. on the front on the player press and hold `SELECT` button until `REGION 2` appears on the players display.

5. using remote press quickly vol up/down button until the desired region appears on the display.

6.leave until `NO DISK` appears on display and you are ready to play dvd`s from the selected region.

to set back to region 2, repeat the process and in step 4 press vol up/down until `REGION 2` appears on display.

I think region 9 is multi-region on the thomsons.
I tried this with a region 1 disk and worked perfectly, then changed back to region 2 successfully.
