it cant have been. i tried a region 1 dvd and it didnt work. anyhow i hacked it using the other alba hacks. they must all be the same!

Turn On player Open disc tray either using the Eject on the player or Open on the remote Press 2, 8, 1 and 2 A menu should pop up, press Enter until 9 appears DVD player is now region-free
