Multi-region hack required for the daytek 871 which works (currently my machine is locked in region 1). There seems to be a number of suggested remote hacks out there - none of which work! These include pressing setup and entering 8888, or 1379 on the preferences page. None of these work so please don`t waste your time trying them.
It doesn`t matter if the Hack involves opening up the machine! If anyone can help, I`d much appreciate it.
