Page 1 of RCE hack for Toshiba SD-3109/200/2109/100!!!!

I saw this in the March issue of "What Video"

I don`t know if the player has to be chipped? Does anyone know?

Toshiba SD-3109 and SD-200

Insert RCE disc and wait for Regional Code Violation screen to appear

Press Memory and move cursor to the "T", Then press 1, followed by play.

When violation screen disappears press clear.

Toshiba SD-2109 and SD-100

Insert RCE disc and wait for Regional Code Violation screen to appear

Press Memory and move cursor to the 1 ( or as near as you can ) Then press 1, followed by play.

When violation screen disappears press clear.


I would be especially interested to know if it works for the 2109 as a mate has an unchipped one

The remote tricks do work for RCE disks ... also as an added bonus it works on Unchipped toshiba players so the more RCE titles that appear the more Region 1 dvd`s your mate will be able to watch without chipping :)

So he will only be able to play Region 1 RCE discs, not ordinary Region 1 discs?
