Page 1 of MULTIREGION HACK FOR THE RONIN DVD-215 DVD PLAYER

HI EVERYONE,

THIS IS THE ULTIMATE MULTIREGION HACK FOR THE RONIN DVD-215 DVD PLAYER. THE ONES POSTED ON THE MULTIREGION HACK PAGE DOES NOT WORK.

PLEASE FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AS THEY ARE BELOW, EXACTLY:

1. GO TO THE WEBSITE http://roninhacks.shacknet.nu and click on the ronin logo
2. Scroll down to the part where the 215 model is mentioned (NOTE: not the P215F MODEL)
3. Download both the instruction file and crack file by clicking on the links available
4. Follow the steps in the instruction file exactly. Make sure you use a totally blank CD-R or CD-RW disc that has never been written on before)
5. After having applied the steps in the instructions, using your remote control, press the SETUP button
6. Press the right arrow button THREE times (You should now be on the "Preference Page")
7. Then type 1379 (A grey rectangular box will appear with the words "Region Code" followed by a number (Number 2 if you have a UK DVD Player)
8. Using your down arrow button move down toany number you wish to make the dvd player into whichever region you want e.g. 1 for Region 1 DVD`s, 0 FOR MULTIREGION
9. Enjoy

I am having trouble with the firmware upgrade, I cant seem to click on the ronin logo on the http://roninhacks.shacknet.nu page.......can anyone help me?

Click on the DVD Multiregion Hacks link instead, and then select player from pull down menu :)

cheers clayts, but the 215 model isnt there.....there is the P215F and the P215 but not 215 >:(

Ronin have told me that the 215 is the same machine as the P215
