If the display doesn`t read "COdE - - " at the correct pointm then your 2280 is the same as mine, requiring a firmware chip replacement.
The 2280 I have has a hard to chip problem, being worked on as we speak, and I have to post the board forthwith to the chip supplier.
When it returns, I shall repost here, and give you the man to speak to!
