Try the following:
1) Go to DVD mode 2) Using the remote control do the following - press dvd setup menu 3) Make sure the dvd set up menu has come up, and then type in the numbers 1 3 6 9 4) Then hit the left navigational button 3 times followed by the right navigational button once. 5) That should bring up a version popup two thirds of the way down the set up menu. Enter that version popup and change the region code from 2 to 0.
Its as simple as that!! Let me know how you get on.

:( I have tried that hack about a hundred times now and its still not working for me! im not sure if i am doing it in the right place! on the blue screen which says "goodmans" as the background, with a DVD in, but not playing, i press and hold the setup button on the remote control? am i doing this right? if so, y is it not working?
