From the top of this forum

IMPORTANT: You CAN remote hack your PHILIPS player without paying the rip off fees demanded by chipping companies, click here for more info! Also Sonys, Panasonics, most JVCs, Toshibas cannot be hacked via the remote. A chipping company (and therefore payment of a fee) is necessary.

Don`t we just know it - there`s little we can do to stop the proliferation of lazy people who can`t be bothered to search this forum first before posting their completely pointless request for a hack for those players >:(

the solution is quite simple , when someone clicks on the "Start a new thread by clicking here" link it should take them to a page that has a big stop sign like the link below

www.emedco.com/emed2/gifs/TC43706.gif

with the text " Have you searched the forum to see if your question has already been answered ? " along with the search box searching this forum ( not the others).

I think that would go a long way to preventing repetative posts

Jon

That`s an excellent idea - I`ll put it to Robert John Shepherd

Need remote hack for badged Sony DAV-SA30

soosan (Harmless) posted this on Monday, 4th August 2003, 22:23

Hi - forgive my innocence but my husband is the engineer. I`m just the pc person in this one. He has to reprogram a Sony DAV-SA30 but thought that as this model is from the Samsung stable there may be a remote hack for it. Do you know of any or could you point me in the right direction please?

Many thanks for your time

Soosan
