Dear All,

Does anyone know of a hack for a Philips TV/DVD combi, 14PT6107, which we bought at the w/e.

This hack definitely works...

1. In TV mode, on the remote control press [0],[6],[2],[5],[9],[6] and then press the [MENU] button
2. Select the "DVD" option on the menu, using the arrow keys, and then press the [ENTER] button
3. Highlight the "Region" option, and then use the left and right arrow keys to change the region from 2 (UK), to "ALL"
4. Exit by pressing the [MENU] key until you are back to TV

Could you please just explain what is meant by TV mode. I assumed it was the fourth option on the AV button(after AV,DVD,SVHS). I am then getting each channel as I press each number and there is then no region option displayed.

Hi, Could you be precise as to this hack. I have tried it till I am blue in the face and worn the buttons down, and cant get it to work. ie; please explain TV Mode. Regards Tony

Hi insert an american disc then punch in the code and this will work.

Ive tried the code but i keep changing the channels.Also i have inserted an american disc and i still cannot get it to work.Can some one please help me Please
