i`ve try`d the hack`s given on this site but dont seem 2 work just wondered if any1 new of any others.cheers iggyman

DVD-2000, DVD-2500
Multi-Region:
Press Menu on the remote control Press 1, 6, 7 followed by the desired Region number, or press Mute for Region free Exit the menu This hack only works as long as the player is plugged into the mains. Once power is lost the handset hack requires to be re-entered.
VCD Hack:
Insert a music CD Press Menu and 5 Press Eject (tray should remain closed) Press 1 and Index Menu Press Eject (tray should remain closed) You should now see a menu where you should select 1 to enable VCD playback Note: Freezes with RCE encoded discs. No known problems with models using new firmware made available in January 2000. Earlier firmware versions will not play The Matrix and require an upgrade, this does not remove the hack
