sup , got a hack for the HT-DM150 but it also works for HTEV100 ,so here goes
-switch off player & unplug from mains -wait thirty seconds -reconnect power supply -turn player ON using remote -hit ENTER on remote - press 8,4,2,6 AND 9 on remote - hit ENTER on remote - player will switch off - turn player ON using remote
player is now region free. this does work i`ve used it on my own HTEV100
