Hi!
I just bought Grundig GDV-130 for FIM 1600 (EUR 269) and I was wondering if it could be made region-free? (remote code or modchip)
It`s quite impressive. It plays DVD, Video CD, Audio CD and MP3 CD (files and directories are shown with 8 letters but it supports ID3-tag and shows long title when song is played on TV) . SVCD is also mentioned somewhere, but I haven`t tried it yet.
Update: SVCD worked OK.

How to change Region Codes
Region code setting
1. open tray 2. press SETUP "n", "2", "0", "0" ,"0" STEP SHUFFLE NEXT (region "n" is written to EEPROM) "n" is region code ID 1 to 6 ( 9 is BYPASS !!!!)
3.How to confirm reginal code status? 1. keep tray open / setup menu state 2. press SHUFFLE STEP NEXT Secret menu (with current Region ID) will be displayed Note: In secret menu, region code can not be changed
