just picked up a Daewoo DVD-5800 and a CyberHome DVD-500 and would like to know if anyone knows of any Multi-regional hacks for these DVD players. Thank you for any time. Sean

This hack should work for the Daewoo DVD-5800 How to make the player Region and Macrovision free;
Press Open/Close (tray open) Press Setup Press Shuffle Press Step Press Next You should be able to see the secret menu and scroll down to DEBUG and the list shows from 1-9 (which is regions). Option 9 is region free/bypass. By default 1 is ticked and will not able to change permanently.
Here is the solution to change the Region code:
Press Open/Close Press Setup Press X, 3, 0, 1, 0 (where X is your choice of Region 1-9) Press Step Press Shuffle Press Next

i have a firmwear disk for the cyberhome 505 .witch will unload it to all region .i know it works as i have unlock my girlfriend dvd player. if you would like a copy i can send you one. theres a £5.00 charge for this for p+p and my time (07884090557) electron 84
