Hi there!
I`ve managed to partially hack a Panasonic DVD! It`s still incomplete, but I need you guys to help me out, so we can hack this b****!

1. Press power on.
2. After NO DISC, push and hold the eject on front panel, then (while holding this) press and hold the STILL button on front panel.
3. While holding these, the remote control can do some things on your player. E.g. holding the two buttons and pressing 1 switches your player into Test Mode 1. Pressing 6 shows the region number.
4. Try pressing play mode... The display reads some numbers. When you press for example the Power Off, it says 1. Region 1?

C`mon! With your help we can bypass the region check. So reply and let`s be regon free!

I have got a A350.

I tried the thing holding the Eject & Still and this is what I got

press 1. Test mode 1
press 2. Test mode 2
press 3. Test mode 3. (keeps opening and closing the tray)
press 4. Test mode 4
press 5 . tried this three times
attempt 1.(Display said JIT000 for 3 seconds then
changed to JIT214)
attempt 2.(JIT0000 then JIT215)
attempt 3. (JIT000 then JIT250)
press 6. Display reads 2 P6 02 0
press 7. Display reads 0:08 E693
press 8. Scrolls Serial Error Display Mode
press 9. all icons light up on the Display
press 0. Displays H02
press clear. Displays FEP 12

hi dave
any joy with haking panasonic a350 ive managed to find out how to change regions
put player into standby mode
from standby press 0 for codefree{auto
from standby press 1 for region 1
from standby press 2 for region 2 etc etc
can anyone help me please ive lost the manual for the panasonic a350 and the kids have been playing with the remote and locked the machine on ratings 1 when i try to change it it asks me for a 4 digit password
help help help
asside from killing the kids how can i unlock the machine to an open rating
anyone out there know

initialized the player to its default:
when player on(no disc) enter: pause+skip rew+power for 3-4 sec.
you`ll see:"initialized" .
turn off,on again. now try!!!

In case anyone is wondering what has happened here it is that Farid has managed to find the service modes etc. as detailed in the service manual for the player.

BTW the JIT message refers to the jitter reading of the player and can be different each time you try it.

There are no player service modes that allow you to change region.

I`ve tried this thing. Got the "INITIALIZED" message, but the following on player`s still locked. Any ideas how to unlock the A-350, please? This one is completely locked and even doesn`t allow to open tray. Got no manua and ideas what to do. Please help.
