Page 1 of Samsung DVD M105 Stuck On A Region

Hi I`m new to this site and I hope that someone can help me.
I have a Samsung M105 and I used the hack so as to be able to play Region 3.
The hack has worked, but now I can`t set the settings back to region two or to muti-region.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Can some one please help me.

Switch on the player, then hold down both PLAY and STOP on the front panel until the language select screen appears. Once you`ve selected your language, the player will be reset to factory default settings, i.e. region 2. You can now perform the hack as before.

Your inability to use the hack when the player is in R3 mode stems from the fact that you need to enter a *different* 5-digit code depending on which region the player is currently in:

R1 - 29334
R2 - 57538 or 38767
R3 - 56732
R4 - 76884
R5 - 53814
R6 - 24462

but it`s easier to just do the cold reset as mentioned above.

There`s actually no need to set the player to a specific region - if you use multi-region mode, you`ll be able to play any disc from any region (including R1 RCE titles).
