can anybody out there let me know if it`s possible to remove the macrovision on a phillips dvd player 711
and how do i go about it.

buy a macrovision scart cable for £30 on the net (wont find it in the shops).

Bought one tried it and it did not do the trick.
Had the lead checked out and it is working okay.
any other sugguestions!

No!! Suprising! Mine works perfect with every film I`ve tried. The only other thing I can suggest is that you search the website for hacks. There are sites that supply you with them for around £2.
