RE: DECCA DDV 2141 HACK AVAILABLE
Thanks so much for posting this hack! I`ve been looking for one for about a month and was just about to take this unit back before the 30 day no quibble refund ran out.
I can confirm that this works perfectly on my Decca 2141 and that the VCD hack also enables you to play SVCDs. And given that every single type of media I`ve thrown at it works - and that it plays MP3 CDs, Kodak Photo CDs and MPEG files burnt as data, too - with this hack I believe this is one of the best budget players on the market! £69.99 at Kwik Save.
Thanks again,
Jordan
Glad it worked out okay :-)
RE: DECCA DDV 2141 HACK AVAILABLE
I have read and tried the hack for 2141... no joy.
I can not get to Version after entering 4954 0/10????
Any thoughts please
RE: DECCA DDV 2141 HACK AVAILABLE
Hack works fine on mine as well.
Does anyone know what the other options are for that you can enable in this menu? Apart from the VCD one of course. I dont know what the abbreviations stand for!!
Cheers for the hack Clayts
I`m pretty sure you should be able to enable High Definition CD playback (HDCD) and Windows Media Audio (WMA) playback from that menu too, as the player uses the MediaTek 1369 chipset (miles better than ESS !)
RE: DECCA DDV 2141 HACK AVAILABLE
Hi there
I`m close to buying this machine but am just wondering if macrovision can be disabled and does it play JPEGs and does it play multi-region DVDs?
Thanks
T
Keep trying 4954 0/10 and when I had almost given up I tried holding the remote close to the 2141. All works perfectly.
I spent almost 1 hour and the only change I made was as above.
Good luck.
P.S. the remote works perfectly at any reasonable distance and batteries are new.
