The hack contained on the Region Hack pages for changing the region on the later firmware versions is incorrect. The hack is as follows: Press "Open", "Setup", "9", "3", "0", "1", "0", "Step", "shuffle", "next" Hope this helps you all out, Merry Xmas neil newing

THNX for the help my friend but it didn´t work
I have a Emerson 2100 firm.2514 i thought the code for the manhattan worked with the emerson but i can´t save the region in the secret menu and the code you gave me doesn´t do anything.

yes this remote hack works also on the daewoo dvd 2000, but do you know how to disable macrovision on firmware version 2510 the one OPEN STEP TITLE PREV does nothing!

sorry my friend but the remote hack doesn´t work on my emerson i tried about 1 milion times and the region code doesn´t change i do go to the region debug menu and when i heat the set key above the 9 region it does set the region as 9 but when i move the key to the sub-menu it chances automatly to region 2 again. Can you try to help me step by step because i am going crazy with this.....

P.S all the people tell me the macrovison code is near to the region hack code on 2510, on the same menu....bye
