Page 1 of Wharfdale DVD750s Hack Problems

I am from Region 2 (UK) and have hacked the player to Multiregion using the Hack as supplied on this website. It plays a region 3 Disc but the picture is "Jerky", "Jumpy" and not at all Smooth. The disc is Oceans 11. Has anybody else had simillar problems ? Can anyone help ?

You need to set the player to PAL-60 mode. My guess is that you`ve set it to PAL, which means that when playing NTSC DVDs (such as your R3 Oceans 11) the output is converted from 60Hz to 50Hz, resulting in the jumpy effect.

Change from PAL to PAL-60 and the problem will disappear.

Thanx a lot mike, thats done the trick. Do you have one of these players yourself ?

Not myself, no, but I know people who have. The PAL/PAL 60 thing does seem to confuse a lot of folk.
