I have two questions. 1. Do you have to use the region hack every time you play a DVD in this player, or is it only after the power goes out? 2. After following the instructions for the hack on 1a. does a display appear on your tv screen, or is it a secret menu or something?

1. Thank god, NO! Using the one4all, it`s hacked for good... Changed to Region 0... I even think I moved mine to another house and still didn`t have to hack it again... 2. You use your one4all, typing the code, then play, and "no disc" appears on the player`s screen, then turn it off (using the remote, i guess) wait around 10 seconds, turn it back on, it should be region free.
