Make sure there is no disk in drive
Press Eject Press Program then 1356 X X = Region 0 - 6 Press Stop 5 Times Then OK
0 Will give you muitlregion play back and it plays RCE Disks

Hi tried this one but am having problems with the DVD player so the picture on all discs is grainy, barely in colour....both region 1 and 2 discs have this problem. Any ideas why? Did the hack work ok for you?

Did you use the hack in the thread above, and was it this that gave you the problems with you picture.
Did you manage to overcome the picture problem.
I aski this, as I am about to try this hack as it is the only one I can seem to find, but would prefer if I did not have problems after I try it :-)
