Audio Problems on Philips DVD 751
can anyone let me know if they have had any audio problems using remote hacks with there player. i`ve used the two remote hacks of 002 000 128 156 for r2 and 005 000 128 156 for r1 which work with normal remote but the sound quality goes. is there anything that can be done about this, thanks
RE: Audio Problems on Philips DVD 751
I tryed to hack my 750 with older codes and then I got into strange problems with sound and menus. (Suddenly I got multioutput options and the stereo chain changed L to R)
I had to use a code to reset the hole player (for me, Philips 750, the code was 002 000 000 000)
The RC6 code (with the special RC6 command) worked great for me. Since injected, no more strange behaviours.
Perhaps you might go for the One4All remote to ensure the cleanest hack possible.
Since the codes you`re using are not permanent (after 25 changes the player will lock) I strongly recommend you to use the RC6 hack.

I haven`t read a lot about the reset code(s). Do they remove any codes which have been entered(including rc6)?
RE: Audio Problems on Philips DVD 751
The code I entered for my 750 did:
-Turn the player into virgin mode
-Downgrade the firmware (from 7.03 to 6.x)
-Remove previous codes that I had entered and made the player believe it was a 950 (with multioutput audio option since there`s only a stereo out)
-Return country selection (that dissapeared when wrong code was entered)
I`m not sure if this code will work in other players. I suppose not...
Then I upgraded the firmware (back to 7.03) and then I could use the RC6 (Haggis) hack
Sorry for my english.
RE: Audio Problems on Philips DVD 751
The second code (005) is not for r1 but for r3. This r3 configuration is for players with 6 channel output like the 950. The best way is code 008 000 000 000.
Then again I strongly suggest you use the "RC6" code and make it multiregion before your player locks in a particular region.
