Page 1 of roadstar 1090 region free or in need of a hack?

hi, does anyone know if the roadstar 1090 from index for 69.99 is region free or needs a hack?
anyone know if it is similar to any other player?

HEY i know that the dvd player you have bought can play region 1 dvd`s but i am still trying to find out if you can disable the macrovision so that you can record from your DVD to your VCR. The macrovision only works with some DVDs like those from universal studios and Disney. If you want you can send me a blank email to the following address :-

Would you happen to know if this works for the Roadstar DVD3000 portable DVD player?

right then, the dvd player only plays dvd, cd and mp3. it does not play cdr or vcd. it is multi region. but it isn`t that good. the one we had, had already got the batteries in, the remote was covered in battery acid - it took the skin off my fingers and face!!!

so we took it back and had the money back.

it is only £56.24 in index at the moment but for £69.99 go for the pacific from asda plays anything that you throw at it.

well you only learn from these sites don`t you.
