many people say they have a macrovision code for the sharp 740 but no one seems to say how to do it.clayts got ur disc now my player is multi-region,but can i disable macro.thanks. kevin

Only way to do it is to alter the firmware to an unofficial mainstream European version (DV740S - essentially exactly the same player !).
