Page 1 of *** Help needed for Venturer & Grundig DVD Systems ***

I am trying to find a way to disable Macrovision on a Venturer STS21AAS-10. I have already managed to make it Multiregion.

I have discovered that the Venturer system is also the same as the Grundig GDV 720-HT. If no-one can help with the Macrovision hack, maybe they can offer some assistance with who makes these devices. They are made by another company and are rebadged as Venturer or Grundig. Grundig don`t even mention this device on their web site.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I don`t know how accurate this is, but I have been told that the Venturer is made by Bush.

Peter- already sent you an email with the hack - for reference to all, its as follows

Grundig 720-HT hack


1: open tray
2: key in 81328 and a region chooser should appear at top of screen
3: use the enter key until you select Region 9
4: Press Play

You are now in multiregion mode - so far it has played every R1 & R4 disk I own
