I recently bought a bush DVD 2523 and want to know if there are any hacks for accessing multiregion and VCD discs please?

i also bought a bush 2523 and am looking for the codes but i did use the codes for bush 2023 model and they seem to work but you might have to put the codes in more than once , i have tried and they work ok !

The 2523 is already multi-region (but if you enter the 2023s code 2,8,1,2,ENTER then a hidden menu appears, check and see if the country code is set at 13 if it is it is multiregion. To play VCDs 1) Open tray 2) Enter VCD 3) Close Tray & press the GOTO button repeatedly until the VCD menu appears, stop, A time bar should appear enter 0 then press PLAY and hey diddle diddle away you f***ing go

jasper tryed your vcd hack for the bush 2523 but all it does is eject the disc ? any more idea`s

I have the same issue. I cannot get the 2023 hack to work. Did anybaody manage to resolve the problem with the Bush DVD 2523? The documentation says that it should work with VCD`s and it certainly reads CDR`s OK. Is there a firmware update that you can get?
