Panasonic DMR E30 is there a region hack?

In the next week or so I will be getting the new Panasonic DMR E30 recorder please can you tell me if there is a region hack for this?

The hack that dealers are now offering is a firmware upgrade AND a service remote hack so doesn`t look that good for a freely available one.
