The wharfdale 750 manual says you can`t play VCDs or photoCDs. Is there a crack for this?? I want to play my digi photos...

I didn`t realise it could play SVCD. I`ve had no problems playing VCDs except for one or two notoriously odd ones, whether pressed-CD or CDR.

There were one or two British-produced VCDs of Japanese Animation which were floating around the computer fairs a few years back that don`t work in VCD players. It doesn`t seem to be anything about the file structure or the actual data -- my guess is that they were recorded as CD-ROM, with the full error-correction, which the VCD format doesn`t use.

As for the photos, there are ways of putting them onto VCD or SVCD, and that should work. Is Photo-CD that one that Kodak use? If so, it`ll need specific support from the firmware.
