can anyone confirm that the vcd hack for the schneider 511 actually works. i have tried it but cannot get the machine to play vcd`s.

a bit more info on this machine i have found another menu asking if you want to update software but still no vcd hack, come on guys help me please. For reference the code for this new menu is: 1: press menu 2:key in numbers 760 on remote

Have you 110% confirmed that this machine can play CDR`s ? Are you trying to play official silver VCD`s, or knock-off copies ?

unfortunatly Dan knock off`s, just had a look in the instuctions but can`t find where it says the disk types it plays. Thanxs for replying anyway
