Does anybody have the code for Region 1? I mean intead of code "5 7 5 3 8" I´m looking for the same code but for R1 Thanks in advance

You mean a code to hack the Region 1 (North American) version of the same player? I don`t think there is one.
Starting with the DVD-511, Samsung removed the standard region hack from all North American player firmware versions (but kept it in European, Asian etc. versions). It`s unclear why they did this - possibly to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, or for some other reason - but the fact remains that the Land of the Free is a hack-free zone as far as Samsung is concerned.

TO MAKE YOUR "SAMSUNG DVD-S224" REGION CODE FREE.
*USE YOUR REMOTE FOR THIS PROCESS.
1. Turn DVD player on with no disc inserted. 2. Press "REPEAT" once on your remote control. 3. If your DVD player is: Region 1 coded type: 2 9 3 3 4 or, Region 2 coded type: 3 8 7 6 7 or, Region 3 coded type: 5 6 7 3 2 or, Region 4 coded type: 7 6 8 8 4 or, Region 5 coded type: 5 3 8 1 4 or, Region 6 coded type: 2 4 4 6 2 *So if your dvd player only plays dvd`s that are region 1 coded you would type 2 9 3 3 4
4. Then press 9 on your remote control. 5. Wait 10 seconds. 6. Turn power off.
*YOUR "SAMSUNG DVD-S224" IS NOW REGION CODE FREE AND CAN PLAY ANY DVD FROM ANY COUNTRY.

Just a few corrections, Tim:
a) You should wait for the Samsung logo to appear on the screen before you press REPEAT. (There is a slight delay.)
b) For the Samsung DVD-S series players, you should use 5 7 5 3 8 rather than 3 8 7 6 7 in the case of a region 2 machine. (3 8 7 6 7 is for older models.)
c) American (region 1 coded) DVD-S players are not hackable at all via this method. Again, the 2 9 3 3 4 code only applies to older models such as the 709.
d) After pressing 9, you should immediately press OPEN/CLOSE on your remote control (this opens the tray). Then wait 10 seconds, then press POWER.
