Help !!!!!!!!!! There must be a hack for a DVD as basic as this.

Does anyone out there know of one.

Please reply A.S.A. P. otherwise my region 1 dvd`s will be worthless.

Or have you any other advice

uses special upgrade remote that only dealers have so you have to pay a dealer or buy a chip from one of these

sorry m8.ur talking rubbish about the magic remote to change to region.u c i work for pioneer(castefold,west yorkshire.whitwood common)and i make the pioneer dv-350s- we upload the software via the scart lead.and u cant play american region 1 dvd`s..u c we can only change the from region 2..to region 3/4/5 but thats it.and its all done on a pc..not a remote.sorry dude..just thought id put ya straight :-P

well you are wrong .... simple as that .... you can rent the remote from ... makes the player all region and RCE compatible .... if you dont know what you are talking about it`s best to say nothing rather than try to cause confusion !

oh,i am sorry i didnt realise that remote issue.i mean ive only worked for pionner for the last 7yrs!.but then again i guess u peeps on here no more then us pionner technitions?

the fact of the matter is.that we DO actually upload the software.

didnt say,u cant get one,just said that we dont have the option to select the region(all region) just got 2,3,4,5. btw , u peeps have to pay in the region of £140 to get one.we on the other hand get em for £87 :-P**
