I BOUGHT MY LG PLAYER A FEW MONTHS BACK NOW AND HAVE BEEN USING THE STANDARD REMOTE HACK TO PLAY REGION 1 TITLES, BUT NOW WHEN EVER I DO THIS THE PICTURE IS ALWAYS DISPLAYED IN BLACK AND WHITE, THEREFORE RUINING MY ENJOYMENT OF THE FILM + A LOT OF MY DVDS ARE AMERICAN. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM ........CHEERS

There is a switch on the back of your player, check what this is set to. When the player is new it is set to auto but after hacking you should set it to PAL or it will ouput NTSC from a region 1 disk. After you have set it to PAL with the player turned off, disconnect from the mains for a couple of seconds to set the output mode, plug it back in and you should be ok all in colour. This of course assumes you have not changed any settings or leads and everthing is connected ok.
