Page 1 of Samsung 709 Hack not working

I have a 709 at home that I bought some time ago which I hacked successfully with the same hack that is shown on this site.
I have just bought another 709 but I am unable to hack it. When I get to the part where `adjust` is shown on the dvd screen and I need to put a region1 disk in, the disk is ejected as it is the wrong region.
I have tried applying the hack a number of times, performed system resets, performed cold restarts with no success.
Any one else had this problem?

This hack also works on the Samsung 709 with no need for an extra remote control, because it uses the Supplied SAMSUNG remote!!
