I now have Macrovision-free (hacked) firmware version 4.15C which should work on the following players:

DVD612
DVD612S
DVD622
DVD703
DVD712
DVD722
DVD752
DVD762
DVD870
DVD870L
DVD870P
DVD952
DVDQ40
DVDQ50

This is good news since I placed a meg only a few days ago but how about region hacking, can they be region hacked?
