New Fight Code

1 point deducted for every 30 stat points you are over your opponent`s gremlin after the first 300
(note that the minimum XP for each fight is now 1 regardless of what happens)

That last one may seem confusing, but if you have 100/100/100 and you challenge someone who is 200/200/200 then it will have no effect on either of you.

However if someone is 400/400/400 and they challenge you (or you them) then their XP will be deducted using the following formula:

((400 + 400 + 400) - 300 - (100 + 100 + 100)) / 30 = minus 20 XP

So, if a smaller gremlin challenges me, I lose points then? Hmmmm, I may have to rethink my accepting all challenges policy. Can we have a stats total somewhere to save me doing the maths every time?

No, it doesn`t mean that. Note that it says the minimun number of points you can receive is 1. So every fight accepted that you win gives 3 points for the win plus a minimum of 1 point. So it`s still worth accepting all challenges, plus it improves your win ratio if that ever affects the hall of fame.

So I`ll still be earning one or two XP a fight :D Thats assuming Baby Bob lives past midnight of course.

With 60+ xp for a fight, looks like a hall of fame place isn`t worth squat now :(

Hey, that`s only started happening since midnight! I was already on 5500 before this new fight code kicked in. I`m as shocked as anyone.

Think we may have swung too far the other way now :o No point in me fighting anyone bigger than me now, I`ll have to pick on smaller gremlins for the points!!

The smaller gremlins I fight get 1 point and I get 1 point. Seems to be completely messed up now, and I`ve no idea how I ended up with those points!

Figured it out. Baby Bob gave me those points due to having a massive strength stat. When fighting gremlins with a strength stat near mine, I get 1 point regardless of the fight going 20 rounds and me doing all the hitting. The challenging gremlin also gets 1 point.

I really ought to access Gremlins through the home page, instead of directly to the fights page in my favourites... Had a fight with a grem with high Dex, and lost - drawn 2 rounds. I got 1 point, he got 64...

Perhaps it`s time to spend my XP...
