Is anyone else getting loads more of these than normal.
Getting loads every day for the last week and I can't remember signing up for anything or giving the address to a vendor recently.

I use a different email for every thing I sign up for so I know where my spam comes from, and it all comes via my ebay/paypal addresses.

There was that one spam that arrived from my laptopsdirect.co.uk email so I know they leaked that.

It's likely something you signed up for has had their DB leaked, have you checked your email on https://haveibeenpwned.com/ ?

As it happens. No. Nowhere are near as much as I used to. For the longest time I used Mailwasher, which allowed me to bounce spam back to source without it getting the signifier that it had reached a genuine email address. But a year or so ago Sky/Yahoo disabled the ability to be able to use 3rd party POP3 email programs such as Mailwasher or Thunderbird, resigning us to use nothing but the browser-based email service, which I hate.

That said, either through the years of using Mailwasher for my primary email, or Yahoo's own defences, I can honestly say I haven't been bombarded with spammy crap for years.

Gmail, however, is bloody awful.

Amen to that.
