So we've got a bunch of low quality culture war nut-jobs all trying to outdo themselves in a race to the bottom to appeal to a tiny number right-wing zealots - fighting against woke culture, abandoning net zero, cutting back on benefits - all while ignoring a real, actual crisis.

Still, you've got to laugh*

nope*

Edit: Just as an aside, I am entirely happy with the Tories fielding a totally unelectable candidate at the next election

Yet compared to Braverman she's a veritable Einstein.

Briefly my personal stake in the relief of Johnson's departure is that my son has just left this morning for a four day candidate preparation course to join the Royal Marines.
So is he good enough, do they like him and just as importantly does he like them.
The idea of that narcissistic, grifting liar being in a position to order my son to put his life at risk was giving me sleepless nights. I know the choice of replacements is woeful but I don't think they come close the same levels of uselessness.

I don't think we need to worry about Truss, not now Dorris and Reese-Mogg have thrown their weight behind her.

Anyway, if she does get in we'll be in WW3 pretty soon, or is it WW 12?

Dear God, one Boris leaves, another one walks in.

Tory members never vote for the backstabbers, which means our next prime minister is going to be Liz Truss. May God have mercy on our souls.

Let's hope Maybot 2.0 has the same level of arrogance as 1.0 and thinks she can win an early election.

Truss is probably the candidate most likely to get beaten at the next election. I will take two years of "oh god what now" knowing it was only two years, rather than people thinking, "well he's not terrible" and it being another 6 or 7.

I'm afraid if Labour's poll ratings continue to be this good Starmer and his crew will convince themselves they can win it outright without any help from the Lib Dems or the Greens.
That's far from certain and a hung parliament is still the more likely result.

He's already throwing out any idea of electoral reform.
